Profiles of JA's Characters & Villains:
  Pragma ("Matter")
  "All LIfe Must be Respected."
Pragma is an ancient greek name for "Matter", and he is the least known of Three Guardians (his sisters are Energeia of Energy and Akosmia of Chaos). The reason for him being not well known is due to the fact that he bends in the background very well. He takes on the form of a puppet-like form which he can pretend to be a doll or alter himself into something to disguise himself. It can be noted that his head strongly resumes those of the famous head statues of Easter Island.
Pragma represents Matter which all universe(s) are made of, and as if to symbolize his puppet-like form, matter can't function without energy (Chaos occur only when energy is applied). He has an ability to transform into any objects to suit his sisters' needs (like a sword or a hammer), and he appears to be capable of manipulating any materials. Any damages to the wings of Akosmia and Energeia can be repaired by Pragma using his mastery over Matter.
Pragma sports buddhalike personality (source of inspiration for Buddhism and Hinduism?) and is oldest and most wise of all Three Guardians. He tend to accomplish Akosmia to provide her means of defending herself against any "witchhunters" as well as removing any threats to Energeia.
.................................................................................................................................................
It appears that Pragma was somewhat responsible for the "Easter Island Incident". Akosmia tend to get really furious when such accidents happen especially since she is trying to safeguard the secrets of the Three Guardians meaning that she didn't want anyone to know anything about them. If something gets exposed, Akosmia may have to go on a killing spree, and since Pragma values Life, Pragma disapproves of Akosmia's killing methods, hence, plenty of friction between Akosmia and Pragma.
That shows how Pragma can transform into anything like a hammer used by Energeia to
to knock some sense into Akosmia's head, and Pragma appears to enjoy such occasions.
