TRSE: How To Draw Tutorials:
Emotions:

Body Languages:
It is common for the body to act in conjunction with the emotions on the face, hence, the body language.
To show how displeased she was with Mercury, Neptune leaned forward to give Mercury a close and hard stare. No words are needed. Often, the eyes/face will do the speaking without any need for words.
The way Venus's body was acting shows that she was guilty of committing something.
Moon shudders when she hears something metal being sharpened on a grinding wheel. That kind of shudder can happen when hearing about/seeing some disgusting stuff. Sometimes, getting cold suddenly can result in a shudder.
Shuang winces (including her body) when someone got in a rather painful accident.

Personalities affecting emotions:
Diverse personalities of characters affect how the emotions are displayed on their faces. Some emotions may be unique to some characters. This picture demonstrates how the characters share a similar emotion (shocked) but they display the emotion bit differently due to their different personalities.

But it can get more complicated if one is drawing a story (manga or comic) because we have to take in consideration of how a character should react to a changing situation and decide on the proper emotion for that character. It's usually best to draw the emotions it by "learned" instinct instead of trying to figure out a proper emtion. That is something anyone may have to learn on their own and learning how to act helps too.

This one is which the emotions do the storytelling without using any words.(from JA's Pink Sugar Heart Ache )

This is an example of how the emotions of two persons interact with each other (The Four Horsemen of Apocalyse: The Emergence fanfic manga)

Here's even more complicated examples of how emotions change and interplay with others.

Drawing the right emotions takes a great deal of time and practice to master because of their complexity resulting from diverse personalites and situations that often result in diverse combinations of emotions as well as understanding how the muscles in the face work. It is recommanded to start with basic emotions first before moving on to more complicated forms of emotions. The best way of learning how to manage the emotions is to carefully watch Anime/read mangas and observe how the emotions are displayed in response to changing situations, but be careful, some emotions displayed in the Anime/manga may not "ring" right due to the artists' varying experiences. It also helps to pretend that you're one of the characters in the manga/anime, and act out how that character should react. Doing your own manga would be of a huge asset in learning how to draw anything. I also point that the way the emotions are drawn and displayed do change over time and those in olders Animes are quite different from those of more recent Animes.
