    The Copper Falls Mine(part of Owl Creek Fissure Network) is very well known for one of few copper mines in Michigan where pinkish veins of crystalline datolite are found abundantly while the datolites in nodular forms appear to be somewhat scarce in the area in spite of the exaggerated reports of colorful nodular datolites found in the area.
