    The Copper Falls Mine(part of Owl Creek Fissure Network) is very well known for one of few copper mines in Michigan where pinkish veins of crystalline datolite are found abundantly while the datolites in nodular forms appear to be very rare as according to Bob Barron who once worked wtih Seaman Mineralogical Museum at Michigan Tech University (soon to be moved to Quincy Hoist site).
