.        Arcadian Mines are known for its highly unusual datolites where they seem quite ugly compared to other datolites. There are at least three shafts around Arcadian and several seams of datolites had been brought out. The classic datolites from Arcadian #1 is quite colorful and usually pink with white rims. Arcadian #3 produced the datolites gray with greenish hues spider webbing throughout them. Other datolites are what is considered the ugliest type of datolites with white and brownish black coloring, and those that looks like copper toned smoking clouds. The mines are privately owned. As of August 2012, the mine dumps are mostly gone.
