Parcelas Agates
Cerro El Oregano area near Le Baron,
Chihuahua State. Mexico
The Casas Grandes, Parcelas and Calandria Agates tend to be very similar in cut/polish appearance that they sometimes can be confused for each other.  What may distinguish the Casas Grandes Agates from Parcelas Agates is that Casas Grandes Agates look more rusty (yellowish) while Parcelas Agates come with dark red-gray dark skins.  The Parcelas Agates are mostly white sometimes with lavender to purplish or grayish hues. Some bands are fuzzy or spotted with clay sphericals. Purple Passion agates were found "next door" to Parcelas mine.
