First passed as "Black River" Agates, they turned to be actually found along the gravel bars of El Entrie river of the Mesopotomia Region, Some agates had been found in few other nearby rivers, but El Entrie river is the most productive. The agates are typically white to gray with some yellowish hue, and as in their rough forms, they would look strongly brown to yellow, sometimes orange. Some agates would look better if they're left in their river worn rough forms while others would look better as polished forms. Very few come out with some colors. The horizontal bands and plume inclusions have been noted in some specimens.
