It is sure tough to get
anything from Alaska because so much of the area is heavily
forested and mountainous making the access difficult. The
miners are more focused on valuable resources like gold. It
can't be helped to wonder if there are any agates and
thundereggs sites have been ignored/overlooked.
There are some agates found along Nowitna
River and they had been passed as Carnelian agates mainly
due to the fact that they look similar to those coming from
Oregon.
