TRSE: How To Draw Tutorials:
Posting the Artworks on Internet

First thing, let's take a look at this screenshot of my finished BSSailorMoon fanart.

Once a picture is scanned and displayed by an art program, it will be made up of pixels. For example, this SailorMoon fanart is 600 * 450 pixels. The pixels are are like the building blocks (LEGOS) that come in different colors. See the picture below for example.
See those little blocks that make up the picture? Each block is a pixel and many art programs will show each picture in the size of pixels something like 600 * 300  pixels. When the pictures are scanned, they will always have "steppy" lines whether you like it or not because of the pixels.
When you're ready to save a picture to your computer, there are several art formats for you to decide on. The art formats are BMP, GIF, JPG and PNG.
Let's show how to save your picture as one of the art formats.

Look for something like "Save As" which should be under "File".
Click on that and you should get this:
Click on the scrollable box with an upside down triangle on it, and you should get a list of art formats (MS Paint don't have that many art formats). Most formats in that list are useless, so ignore those and look for BMP, GIF, JPEG and PNG which are most widely used around the world

So which art formats work best for your artworks? Let's show the cons and pros of the art formats.
