Sky Blue Thundereggs
Florida Mountains, Deming, Luna Co., New Mexico,  USA
.
One of several thunderegg deposits discovered by Paul "GeodeKid"' Calburn and his mining partners, the Sky Blue thundereggs tend to be bioconiod(two points/saucer-like) type containing white, gray, blue and very rarely light purple agates. The Sky Blue Thundereggs turned out to be one of few types of thundereggs containing strong shadowing effects (parallax), and since the thunderegg shells are not completely silicified, the shells proved to be rather brittle (breaks easily that it's hard to get a whole speicmen intact while cutting). The bulk of Sky Blue thundereggs (especially large ones) have been mined out, but there are still some more left in the mine that can be dug out by hand and as a result, the supply of SkyBlue thundereggs are limited.

Updated October 2010, new specimens have 2010y in their code names.
Larger pictures of any interested specimens can be provided at request.
