.	Dwarves' Earth Treasures Online Rock Shop: Ascension Thundereggs Ascension, Chihuahua Province, Mexico	.

  The thundereggs from Ascension, Mexico (south of Janos, Mexico) were dug by Peter Ghitney a while ago and it is not known if anyone else had dug them. I was able to obtain the pails of Ascension thundereggs from his estate and getting good specimens while cutting.  The agate in the Ascension thundereggs is commonly gray with purplish hue, sometimes laced with orange, red and black and there are some thundereggs with deep purple agate cores. Most thundereggs are small and I have yet to see any thundereggs bigger than fists. Updated October 2010
