In a rare gesture and despite
widespread protests, Prince Demand made Taffe a governor of Nemesis, the
homeworld of Black Moon clan in his absence as he heads for the Earth to
oversee his war against the Earth while Schorl, a Shadow Assassin was assigned
to be her bodyguard.
In the world of Black Moon overfilled with women
obsessed with their looks, fashion, wealth, and social positions, Taffe
can be considered "some lowly tomboy punk" where she will not behave the
way others expected a girl to be. Many people had been confused or frustrated
by her tough, direct and sometimes cold personality. She was not selfish
meaning that she has no interest in wealth, and she won't do what she consider
acts of idiocy like wasting time prettying up her face or jockeying for
social positions. In spite of her personality, she was quite fond of her
older sister, Larima, and she can warm up to anyone who treated her with
respect.
She valued life and she was willing to help
anyone in need including those she doesn't like. During her one sided fight
with bad tempered Petz, one of the Four Sisters, Taffe yelled at Petz to
watch where she's aiming, otherwise, she'll hurt anyone, but Petz didn't
care. When Petz got injured and about to fall to her death, Taffe immediately
rescued her, but Petz "backstabbed" her. Fortunately for Taffe, her pacifist
sister, Larima arrived in time to intervene.
Her attitude and concern for the welfare of her
people were what earned her a position of a governor of the Nemesis. When
the Wiseman was defeated and her people was dying, Taffe led the struggle
for survival by helping Topaz carry out his operations out of hope that
her people can be saved. |

Taffe's toughness, unselfishness, and strong
concern for the welfare of the people of the Black Moon earned her the
position of Governor of the Nemesis in absence of Prince Demand as he heads
for the Earth. Some Black Moon members weren't happy about some "lowly
tomgirl punk" taking such position, and there already had been some trouble
between Taffe and Petz, one of the Four Sisters. |

Taffe's powers appeared to be associated with the element of
air which she excelled in defensive measures like sending out shock waves
through air to knock the enemies off their feet. She was quite cunning
with her powers as Petz found out the hard way before Taffe's pacifist
sister, Larima intervened. |

She had some knowledge of
martial arts, and she preferred to finish any fights before they get started.
Since she was not strong, she wanted to avoid getting herself stuck in
any lengthy combat situations, and her fighting methods tend to be quite
direct and involving trickery. To quickly end any combats, she made any
direct strikes against the opponents' vulnerables (like male groins) and
knocking those blocking her way to the floor by jumping on them. |

Taffe discovered that she had a talent
of being a voice actress where she can alter her own voice to do different
voices. That proved to be a big advantage when Taffe can turn her opponents
against each other by mimicking their voices. |

Since Taffe liked to learn, Taffe had
a passion for educational books (and mangas). |
 |
She was quite good at obstructing
the efforts of her enemies, but often, she did not realize the long-term
consequences of her actions. During JA's Sailor Neptune: The Spread
of Pestilence, Taffe learned that Mamoru was doing some research at
a library, so Taffe hid every book she could find that Mamoru needed for
his research. That would later prove to be her huge undoing when she didn't
realize that Mamoru was dealing with the enemies bent on the killing sprees
(she valued life). |

Taffe was alert and always ready for any
troubles regardless. One time, she heard some voices while taking a shower,
and she got ready to whack some invaders with a broom while wearing nothing
but a towel. |
 |
She was a loner, and not very comfortable
around gossipy people as well as those who expect her to behave like some
nice girl when she was too tomboyish for that. She had very strong distaste
for most of the feminine stuff such as make-ups and jewelries, and skirts
(she always wear pants), but she did sport a bit "girly" haircut. She even
had distaste for masculine stuff too. |

Taffe witnessed the death of her older
sister, Larima, most dear to Taffe, and Taffe had been blaming the Sailor
Senshi especially Sailor Moon for the death of her sister. With that, Taffe
worked to be a "big thorn in their sides" by doing whatever she can to
make the Sailor Senshi miserable when she have a chance. |

Even she was Taffe's enemy, Taffe saved
Usagi's life by grabbing her before she accidentally falls off the observation
deck of the Tokyo Tower, and Usagi ended up being scolded by Taffe. Taffe
did value the lives and that's one of the reasons Prince Demand made her
a governor. |
