As stated by his quote above,
Schorl was the Shadow Assassin of the Black Moon, trained to silently and
mercilessly kill anyone opposed to Prince Demand(Diamond). Schorl could
have been considered one of most dangerous member of the Black Moon clan
due to his ability to blend with the shadows.
He was highly loyal to Prince Demand and he had been trained throughout his life to become one of deadliest warrior in the world of Black Moon. Despite his bulk size, he had an ability to blend with the shadows and manipulate them to his tactical advantage. To ambush his opponents, all he can do was just stand there and let the shadows take him to his desired places. His preferred method was to simply break their necks by twisting their heads, and such method leaves behind no messes. His methods were effective as long as there are any shadows, but even if there are no shadows, he can engage in any martial arts combats. He had been known to speed himself up to outpace his opponents and applying any extra powers needed to quickly defeat his tough opponents. Schorl's personality was completely dark and emotionless (no remorse in killing anyone without mercy), but he tend to be quite arrogant. He first appeared in JA's Sailor Jupiter: Broken Heart and it was very fortunate that Sailor Senshi faced him when Schorl was in his weakened state due to death of the Wiseman. |

Schorl is a total black variety of tourmaline, one of most common type of the tourmaline family. |

Schorl can blend with the shadows, and control them at his will. By using the shadows he can transport himself to anywhere he desires. That works only if any shadows are available. |

This was the first drawn version of Schorl, but since JA's skills with drawing male characters improved over time, Schorl now looked much better in that colored picture above. Because of his lifetime training, his heart was so dark that he was immune to Sailor Moon's healing powers. After all, in order to be a successful assassin, one's heart must be completely dark. No mercy, no remorse, no compassion. |

Schorl was capable of powering up to deliver sufficient powers needed to kill his tough opponents, and that made him quite a dangerous opponent to reckon with. Very few survived any combative encounters with him. |

That may well be Schorl's first (and last) defeat at the hands of emotionally enraged Sailor Jupiter especially since Schorl was already weakened by loss of Wiseman's negative powers which all Black Moon people are dependent on for full powers and survival. His defeat took place during JA's Sailor Jupiter: Broken Heart. |
