Aouli Agates,
Aouli, Morocco, Africa
.
The Aouli Agates recognizable by their general cone-like shapes, had entered the market only for a short due due to the fact that too much of Aouli agates were fractured at all. They came from many basalt deposits around Aouli, but treated by Moroccans as a single locality. White and gray are most common colors while some agates came with red, purple, yellow and orange(second most common color). Some came with excellent shadowing effects and I have yet to see any really colorful agates coming from that location.  Gem Shop Inc. treated some of the agate fragments to produce the strong black and white colored agates called "Tuxedo Agate".
All agates have some fractures unless stated otherwise.
