Dwarves' Earth Treasures Online Rock Shop:
FYI & Making an Order
.
Subject to changes over time as I become more experienced with selling agates online.

All agates I have for sale are already cut and highly polished from the rough I have obtained, and the agates are mostly whole halves unless stated otherwise such as "SLAB", "Chipped Back (Cut from broken nodule)" and "Thin Specimen"   Due to the fact that it's hard for me to obtain any good agate roughs, I regret that I cannot sell roughs nor rough cuts.
All agates are scanned with Epson Perfection 1660 Photo Scanner, which almost got the colors right, but they may look better under sunlight. Using the scanner was easier and less time-consuming than a digital camera. When using the digital camera, it's hard to get the well-polished agates positioned without any reflection glares as I discovered trying to take pictures of agates with polished curving surfaces. With the scanner I was able to scan a lot of agates at once instead of having to take a picture of one agate at a time with the camera. But I do deal with typical problems with dust and scratches on scanner's glass.
The problem with the scanner is that they provide only 2D pictures that cannot show the thickness of each agate specimens. Because of that, I cannot guarantee that each agate will be the way you expect them to be. There are some agate specimens that have been cut from partially broken nodules which often results in one thick half and one thin half  with "clipped back" (where exposed broken face was). Please feel ask me more about any agates you're interested in.
The agates themselves tend to look better than what are shown in the pictures and some hard-to-see fractures may be not noticeable in the pictures, so examine any pictures of agates very carefully and ask any questions. Be aware that the just because an agate look big in a picture doesn't mean that it's a big specimen, so it helps to pay attention to the measuring rulers (in both centimeters and inches) on the bottom of each picture. You can ask me for larger pictures of any agates you're interested in.
I regret that I cannot set up a shopping cart system where anyone can just click "BUY", "Checkout" and "Click to Pay" or something like that since there are problems with such systems. The examples are that the shipping rates for anywhere around the world always vary and it wouldn't be good to pay for something only to find out that it already have been sold in a rock show recently. Even I can lose track of which agates I have sold especially when I get so busy with selling that I couldn't record what I have sold.
By writing down the codenames for any agates you're interested in, you can send me your Wish List and I will check on the availability of the interested agates. Then I will send you a larger and better resolutation pictures of selected agates for you to decide on. After that, I'll send you an invoice a total and do something what a cart system couldn't do, settle on a good deal for the lot. I always take 20% off on any matched pairs except when I have Anniversary 20% off sale. :) I also welcome trades for any good agates I don't have in my galleries.

I have received many comments about how well the agates have been polished to the point of being almost mirror-like, and few even added that they can see their tooth molars when holding the agates up. They were grinded with few kinds of silicon carbide discs on rotating 8" lap machine and polished with tripoli on duck canvas. See the pictures below for examples of how well I polished the agates.

Basics of Ordering:
-Due to too many recent cases of "Noshows" (people making orders, but didn't pay), I can put the agates on hold only for two weeks.
  - I set up my booths at some rock shows so it can happen that that I may have already sold some agates that you wanted to order as well as possible mistakes I may have made with the galleries. That's why it's best to send me the Wish list of agates you're interested in and wait for me to reply with what is available before making any payments.
-When you find any agates you're interested in, please make a list by writing down or copy their code names (for example: DRY001-$25) and email the list to me. (sailorenergy@yahoo.com or sailorenegyATgmail.com) replace AT with @

Shipping:
Right now, I can do only United States Postal Service and I'm not sure of FedExp and DHL. I ship international and I must point out that it is common for any packages going to South America and Asia to be delayed for several weeks to a month due to Customs processes.

Type of Payments Accepted:
    -Paypal, most encouraged.
-Money orders (Post Office MO is most preferred)
-Money wires from around the world like MoneyGram, Western Union, etc as long as I don't end up paying the fees for receiving the money.
-Checks/Cheques.  Please check with me to see if I accept checks/cheque or not. I can accept the checks only when I'm in Michigan during Summers and Falls (I can't cash them in Arizona in Winters and Springs). The checks/cheques will take a week to be cleared and once they're cleared they'll be shipped to you.

Thank you please email me any questions/insquries/orders/whatever.
