This is an example of what my booth look like in several rock shows/swaps, and the booth consisted of agates displayed on the dirt-filled gold pans (for easier grouping and positioning). Due to the recent Technical Issues, this Agate Shop is closed until late Summer to Fall 2012.

My online agate show was doing fine until last March when my computer died on me and I had to buy a new computer. The unfortunate thing was that the computer came with Windows 7 which refused to cooperate with my new and best photo scanner. I had to wait 8 months before Epson programmers finally developed a driver needed to make my scanner work with Windows 7. So the momentum with this shop is completely lost and I'm not ready to start everything over again yet. I need to focus on polishing and cutting agates to get ready for Celebration of Agates show in July 2012 and various shows in Midwest States. I'm also updating my Museum section.

I can offer to scan the casual pictures of several agates at once and email them to you. But expect me to be slow with the pictures since the only time I can do the pictures is during the night times when I usually end up being too tired from doing the daytime jobs(geology jobs, cutting and polishing commissions) to do any night works.

I will open the shop but it takes two to three months to scan, list and post the pictures of agates (over 50 varieties) I have for sale (internet stuff takes a lot more work than just setting up a booth at a show). I will start on that in late summer after Celebration of Agates 2012 (I need to have enough stuff to sell at that show) when I have more time in Michigan and finish by Fall.

It's just that it takes a lot more work to do internet stuff than setting up a booth at a show.
