-Typical colors: White, pink, gray,
red.
-Typical sizes: 2 to 10 centimeters
(haven't seen any larger ones)
-Typical shapes: Rounded to domed
narrow nodules (rarely fat)
-Most distinguishing characteristic:
Rusty nodules with some peeling of agate bands, alternating quartz &
white to pink agate layers, rarely centered.
-Special Notes:
New agate find, so I don't know if any better nodules can be dug from underground.
They always come in white, pink and red colors. Some nodules are entirely
sagentite.
