-Typical colors: colorless, tan,
brown, gray, white, yellow, orange. Other colors are rare.
-Typical sizes: 3
to10 centimeters (haven't seen any larger ones)
-Typical shapes: Rounded, domed,
and characteristicily cigar-like.
-Most distinguishing characteristics:
Cigar-like rough nodules, brownish primary color (1st layer) is almost
always transparent, heavily weathered.
-Special Notes:
Some nodules contain rare tightly-banded colorful agates. Chromatography
is common in those kind of agates.
