-Typical colors: Always dark colored:
Black, dark yellow, and gray, sometimes with reddish cavity.
-Typical sizes: 10
centimeters or larger (but not sure)
-Typical shapes: Oval, with rough
surface.
-Most distinguishing characteristic:
Rough surface with black agate inside, commonly hollow, often contain red
bands.
-Special Notes:
Only other agate known(to me) to contain red and black colors are Kentucky
Agates which are concertion nodules.
