.    "Old Reliable" Quincy Mine is considered a historical landmark of the Copper Country, a nickname for copper producing Keweenaw Peninsula, and many of the original buildings are still standing and preserved. The Quincy and Mensard Mines are very well known for producing many highly prized colorful datolites and some being baseball-sized. The datolite-producing Franklin and Arcadian mines are adjact (possibly connected) to Quincy and Mensard Mines.
