Dwarves' Earth Treasures Online Museum:
Phoenix & Robbins (West Vein) Datolites
Phoenix Mine & Robbins/West Vein, Phoenix, Keweenaw Co., Michigan
Field-collecting Status:  Private Property, No Treapassing!

I have found several datolites at Phoenix Mine while moving the rocks asbeside to search for analcime crystals. My first datolite I found at Phoenix Mine just rolled down before me as if it was expecting me. The datolite turned out to be lemonade colored, a rare find at Phoenix Mine. The datolites are typically colorless and some are coarse grained.
The pile just west of Phoenix is Robbins (West) Vein and is strictly a private property. I found a datolite there before the No Treapassing sign was posted as a result of ownership change.
