Dwarves' Earth Treasures Online Museum:
Keweenaw Point Datolites
Keweenaw Point and Highrock bay of Michigan
Field-collecting Status:  OK to Collect at Beaches

.
The bright canary yellow datolites were brought up by few scuba divers just off Keweenaw Point and they ended up as one of the most converted datolites coming from Michigan. The datolites have occasionally been found as rounded pebbles along the pebbly beaches of Keweenaw Point and Highrock Bay. There is also a seam of datolite in-site one of the cliffs near of Highrock Bay. I haven't been able to get to that seam yet.
