Dwarves' Earth Treasures Online Museum:
Delaware Datolites (1 of 2)
Delaware Mine, Delaware, Keweenaw Co., Michigan
.
.    Datolites from Delaware mine are most encountered of any datolites from  Michigan mainly due to the fact that the mine dumps are easily accessible by anyone wanting to try their luck finding some datolites and their highly desired pink to red colors. The Delaware Mine seemed to be quite rich in datolite seams as evident as finding different types of datolites from various locations over the mine dumps. One area produced the small white datolite "marbles", one area produced pink to reddish datolites and yellow datolites came from somewhere in the mine dump.  It is my opinion that the Delaware mine dumps had been excessively bulldozed in a way that they may be not much datolites left for later generations (it's very easy to discourage novice collectors).
All datolites below were bought by JA

Second most common color in that mine.
