Dwarves' Earth Treasures Museum:
White Springs Fir Thunderegg
Wildcat Mountain, Central Oregon
.
I have not visited Oregon yet so I do not know that much about so many thunderegg deposits around Oregon. The White Springs Fir site owned by Crook County Chamber of Commerce(open to public diggings) is one of several sites around Wildcat mountain that produces thundereggs that are mostly filled with yellow to white jasper, sometimes stained with red. Some thundereggs with agates have been found there also.

Additional information can be found at Hinkle's Rock Shop: www.oregonthundereggs.com
