Dwarves' Earth Treasures Museum:
Succor Creek Thunderegg
Succor Creek, Oregon (near  Oregon/Idaho border)
.
The deposit of Succor Creek thundereggs was found right over the ridge that they had to be rolled down the slope to the waiting people down there and the thundereggs are usually rounded due to the fact that the cavities tend to open into crescent-like forms. The colorless and featureless agate seem to be typical feature among the Succor Creek thundereggs but thundereggs with more open cavities filled with waterlines or banded agates dan be found. I have not obtained enough roughs to get an idea of their variety as well as anything rare such as inclusions in them.

Rough Appearance: Bubbly thundereggs with quartz grains sticking out. Cavities mostly narrow or crescent-like.
Agates are typically clear with some waterlines and will show quartz grains in the rhyolitic shells.
