Red Hot Thundereggs
50 miles out of USA border, near Sonora/Chihuahua Border, Mexico
.
They tend to be passed as "Sonoran Thundereggs" but I consider that name is too broad and I liked "Red Hot thundereggs" name lot better. The name refers to the fact that some thundereggs are well known to contain very deep red colored agate  (think of red hot chili peppers), making them to be one of very few thundereggs to be boldly colored. They come in other colors such as purple, orange, yellow and many shades of red with some being very bold. Since they were dug out of weathered deposits, it seems quite common to find any Red Hot thundereggs to be fractured.

Mirror-like reflections due to highly-polished and curved surface. Best one I have ever seen so far.

Those two pairs below took me by surprise so I am not sure if they actually came from the same source as Red hot thundereggs
but possible from an abject site?
