Dwarves' Earth Treasures Museum:
Lindburg Thundereggs
Hermanas, Luna CO., New Mexico
.
I stumbled on an abandoned thundergg mine hidden behind a hill somewhere north of Baker Egg Load Mine, which was opened by  Eddie & Emma Lindburg, who also opened the Baker Egg Load Mine before passing it to Paul "GeodeKid" Calburn. The original name of the mine seem to have been forgetten so I referred it as "Lindburg Site" in honor of Lindburgs. The mine seemed to had been backhoed only for a short time before being abandoned when the Lindburgs discovered and opened the Baker Eggs Load Mine. Most thundereggs contain thin crescent-like cavities with typical colors being gray with reddish primary bands and I have found some better thundereggs that resemble those of JA's Little Wash and Baker Eggs. The best find was one with constrasting red, white and yellow bands which appears to be exclusive to this site. The mine has a potenial to produce good thundereggs, but it's on a state land making it too expensive to file a claim and do any further backhoeing.
I ame back to the site in December 2009 and was surprised to find few thundereggs containg wide colorful agate cores so it's possible for me to find more by digging at where I found some of my best thundereggs.
