Dwarves' Earth Treasures Museum:
Tyman River Agates of Russia
.
What is present here is just few of many agate and thunderegg locations of Russia. It is unfortunate they are not easy to obtain mainly due the high cost of obtaining anything from there. The most widely encountered agates would be those coming from Tymen(Timen). They used dymanites to blow up the basalt beds, resulting in finding too many of the agates fractured and broken up. The agates from Tyman River are mostly colorless to white with bluish tints, and many came with great shadowing effects and black plume inclusions.
