Dwarves' Earth Treasures Museum:
Agates & Thundereggs of Japan
.
Althrough the agates especially those coming from Hokkaido island, sometimes had been found and used by Japanese in the past, Japan was not well explored for its agates and thundereggs due to lack of serious collectors. That makes it extremely rare and difficult to obtain any agates from Japan. I was fortunate to have received the gift of three specimens from Hideharu Yamada to show his thanks for my contributions to his Japanese book on "Many Wonders: The Fantastic Stone Eggs: Dragon Eggs and Thundereggs".

More of Japanese agates from Hideharu's collection can be seen at his website: www.lithos-graphics.com/
