Dwarves' Earth Treasures Museum:
Big Diggin Plume Agates
Sunshine (South of Deming), Luna Co., New Mexico
.
.    What are displayed are the rare colorful plumes that rival those of well known Marfa Bonquet agates. I was told that they came from 1974 digs where the best agates and inclusions had been recovered. I was quite fortunate to have obtained the boxes of agates that are mostly uncut. If what they say about 2% o any Big Diggin agates containg good agate is true, then a small percentage of 2% would contain plumes inclusions! But I think there are may be some other spots around main Big Diggin sites that may produce plume agates.
