Few millennia have passed ever since, and it is toward the end of
the Second Dark Age where the civilizations are beginning to recover from
some great economical depression/collapse (not some boring apocalyptic
cases of huge meteorites, nuclear wars, earthquakes, Ice Ages, volcanos,
whatever), and they are starting to prosper thanks to the efforts of the
Pacificators. The overall goal of Pacificators is to secure and maintain
the total continental peace by resolving and preventing any conflicts (difficult
tasks). What is so special about the Pacificators is a small percentage
of Pacificators somehow have "magical powers" which they can manipulate
the elemental powers such as earth, air, water, fire, light, magnetism
and even gravity using what is called "telekinetics" (you can call that
"magic" if you prefer).
The story of Pacificators begins with Daryl Smithson,
a novice Pacificator of Light who was assigned by her newly appointed superior,
Commander Bismun Volborth(no special powers), to begin her first mission
with her new platoon of experienced but poorly matched Pacificators protected
by Egmond Dumortier, a hired mercenary. Her platoon is to investigate the
reported sightings of an ancient oil platform that some sailors have been
passing as the "Gateway to the Heavens" for any technology relics and destroy
any weapons caches they may discover, but there will be plenty of things
going wrong for mysterious Nozimo and the independent Renegades (bad people
with powers) have taken interest in this odd platform.
Rated for teens and older
audience (PG13), but very low in profanity.
-Because of Jeffrey Anderson's deafness, the small
pictures and narrow "triangles" tend to be used in place of sound effects.
It was designed to be printed.

NOTES ABOUT THE PACIFICATORS:
Some people would think this project manga as
a "Post-Apocalypse Future" type, but it's not so since I am actually using
the history of the Dark Ages of Europe as a model where the political collapse
of the Roman Empire resulted into the Dark Age, and eventually various
kingdoms & nations were starting to recover from the Dark Ages with
the help of Cathotic priests and monks acting as "mediators" resulting
in the Renaissance Period. The "Magical-Girl Inspired" story is expected
to be very character-oriented (focused on the main characters). "Pacificators"
is latin for "peacekeepers" who were to help mediate any conflicts and
bring the countries out of the Second Dark Age. I'm expecting plenty of
humor, drama, some tragedies, action, and of course, romance which will
take time to build up. The storyline will take place in the "future version"
of Europe with some countries had been changed or fragmented (like Russia
breaking up into pieces with Moscow becoming a kingdom). The reason
why I chose Europe is that Europe retains its "old wounds, and old grudges"
meaning that that continent is always in conflict for so many thousands
of years due while the societies of America, and Asia seem to be a little
too culturally stable.
