Major Ideas & Questions
Kappa and Oni which are the demons
in the Japanese Mythology. The Kappa were the monkey-like green
water demons with turtle shells that play prank on travelers. Sometimes
they would kidnap some travelers and drag them to their lakes/pond, never
to be heard again forever. It was said that some people bribed some Kappa
to cast curses on their enemies, and some Kappa help the humans
who helped them. Oni were the larger and meaner horned demons that
enjoy doing evil deeds, and eat human flesh.
Sedna, which is a reddish "mini-planet" that
is almost as big as Pluto, traveling along its eccentric orbit far beyond
Pluto. Sedna was discovered in November 2003, and named after an Inuit
Goddess. I figured that Sedna would make a good setting for most of the
story. ^_^ The fact that Sedna is a new discovery inspired this question
for the Sailor Moon storyline: Why was Sedna kept secret, and why was it
so far away?
Please
keep in mind is that Pluto and Sedna may will no longer be considered the
"planets" as the astronomers learn more about the Kuiper Belt where Pluto
and Sedna are located along with dozens of other newly discovered "dwarf
planets".
The BSSM mangas had a complete storyline, but the
Anime Version of Sailor Moon was left with many loose ends. What about
the Amazon Quartet? In Naoko T.'s mangas, those four girls became the Eternal
Senshi of the Asteroids, and yet, in the Anime version, they never got
such opportunity. Why were that Saturn, Uranus and Neptune not present
when the forces of Metallica invaded the Moon several millennia ago? So
why not write a story to answer some of those questions? ^_^
To make such ideas work, the story would have to
take place in few years after SMStars when Chibiusa would have to return
from 30th century with a mission: finding the four missing senshi. I decided
that all Senshi except Pluto won't be involved in this story so Chibiusa
can get all of the spotlight (she insisted!!!).
Summary of the Sailor ChibiMoon:
Queen of the Kappa:
Several years after SMStars Anime, Chibiusa returned
to the 20th century once again to keep Hotaru company, but the real reason
behind Chibusa's visit was that she was to find the four missing senshi.
The problem was that Chibiusa had no idea of how to find those four missing
senshi, and it didn't help that Hotaru was kidnapped by the Kappa. Such
kidnapping of Hotaru would lead Chibiusa to discover a strange girl with
silvery metallic wings suffering from a complete amnesia, and a very dark
secret that nobody want to find out.

Queen of the Kappa:
First
Pencil Sketch: an experimentation which I decide on how it should
be drawn.
Second
Pencil Sketch: Improvements upon the sketch as result of tracing a
blank paper over 1st sketch (so to see mistakes more clearly and fix them).
I will leave the sketch unfinished for now, and I will come back to it to make any changes if needed to make it look better. It will be finalized when Sailor ChibiMoon: Queen of the Kappa is completed. ^_^

Eternal
Sailor Chibimoon: It is proposed that the Royal Fan be added to her
arsenal (including Eternal Chibimoon's wand). Japanese fans were the symbols
of status wielded by the daimyos(lords) and shoguns of Feudal Japan just
like the kings' scepters, and often, the fans can be used in the martial
arts. Since Chibiusa was a princess, why not have her carry such royal
fan and use it as a defense against hand-to-hand combats? Upgraded SMS
wand idea is now in "trash bin". ^_^
Eternal
Sailor Saturn: Now that she's an Eternal Sailor Saturn and that means
that I would have to invent few new moves for her, but I'm not sure if
I need them. No shouting of words needed because of the level of her powers
and experience. ^_^ I know that she's bit leaning, but I'm not going
to make a fuss about it since it's just a design diagram.. That shows why
it helps to use a ruler to keep a figure straight up. ^_^ I was told that
such moves are already used in some SuperS video game that I didn't know
about. ^_^; I'll have to look into that (where can I find info on that
game?)
Eternal
Sailor Pluto: She will look bit aged (she's already thousands of years,
and the years are starting to weight on her). Because of her eternal power
level, I decided that she can do "Dead Scream" without saying anything
to reflect her advanced experience. I decided to add Pluto's new trick
which she can use to speed her time up so she can move to a different place
in a blink of the eye, but the con is that using such trick wil result
having her age bit faster.
"Angel":
That is the girl with silvery metallic wings found by Chibiusa. She was
suffering a complete amnesia (couldn't remember anything), and behaving
as if she was just born (think of Chi of the Chobits). Doesn't she
look awfully familiar to you? ^_~
Ilina
(formerly "Unica") Sedna Version #2: Illina will be one of three main
villains with an interest in "Angel", and she claimed to be associated
with Sedna. Who is her, and what is her history? She also has a relationship
with a druid named Datol which is named after a mineral, Datolite who created
a certain forbidden artifact. She was created as an Inuit ("Eskimo") to
fit with the fact that "Sedna" is a name of an Inuit Goddess. Here's an
old sketch of Unica
for comparation. I like Ilina far better! ^_^
Cheiftain
Oni & Lesser Oni: Version #2
"Oni" and "Kappa" names are given by Hotaru to the creatures
they will be encountering. The chief of the Oni gang is another villain
who hungers for the sweet meats of the human girls. Yikes! Kappa are quite
the opposite of the Oni, and they love to do pranks (they escaped to infest
the 4 Horsemen of Apocalypse saga, and I'm still cleaning up after
their messes). Those "Kappas" are quite different from what were described
in many Japanese mythology stories. So why such differences? The fanfic
manga is to show all stories and myths always change over time in a way
like a fish story that gets bigger and bigger over time. Recall what Sailor
Pluto explained about the story of Beowulf and the swamp monster in Sailor
Pluto: The Hunger of Famine. Here's an old sketch of Oni
& Kappa: for comparation (Kappa remain unchanged, but given
greenish skins).
Alternate
Sketches of Oni. I'm giving the design of Oni some more thoughts, and
included several sketches of different appearances for Oni. Why don't you
look it over and pick one tha you think would suit the Oni best? ^_^
The third villian is what Unica of Sedna would call
"The Dark Deity of Chaos." Very litte is known about this creature who
is the reason for Unica's goals.
Now the Amazon Quartet: several years had passed
since SMStars, so the girls would have to grown up and become more mature.
Their strange circus like hair styles would make them stand out among the
people, so since those four girls don't want to attract any attentions
from anyone especially Sailor Senshi, why not modify their hairstyles?
When they become Eternal Senshi, their original hair-styles will be restored.

The Map Plans: They are to help design the buildings
and rooms as well as plot out a building or a room to help keep track of
objects, and how the characters move around in respect to other characters
especially during the battle conditions. The battles are sometimes tricky
to manage because you have to keep track of their movements, and avoid
having characters pop out of nowhere as if they came from the other side.
The
Room where ChibiMoon and Saturn will be held after being captured.
The
Chapel, to help with a "Big Loose End" about the way Sailor Senshi are
grouped.
The
Rotunda where "Angel" is as well as important events to be held.
Since, I have started drawing Sailor Chibimoon: The Queen of Kappa, I decided to post some of the pencil sketches which you can consider as "Teasers". ^_~ Notice that pencil sketches always look bit dirty due to all of penciling and erasing.
