Nãmaka
Hamou is an introductory manga about "Gold" the deaf mermaid. "Gold"
is actually one of my several oldest characters I created during high schools
that I decided to revive for this story. Her nickname refers to the fact
that her light brown eyes seem golden and I have seen few people with the
golden brown eyes.
The question is this: Is it possible for the humans to evolve into the mermaids/mermans? The answer is that it's quite possible. The Japanse and African swimmers were known to have swum deep to gather the sea foods such as oysters, and pearls, and if they kept going at that for many generations, they could have evolved into mermaids/mermans. :) The story takes place at one of the lagoons around Oahu, Hawaii in far future. Walter Wooden, Jill and Cain, the environmental journalists
have picked up the reports of a real live
-The story is rated Teen+ or PG13 (maybe more like T16+?) due to few partial nudity scenes of Gold, and Wooden's "perverted" thoughts.  Concept Sketches: (Warning, most sketches are NUDE). The mermaids were
designed with Theory of Evolution in mind.
