Notes about my Drawing Habits

    The notes are to help explain the situation behind the drawing of my manga which I'm doing out of a cherished hobby. The published mangas and comics are always done with a team of artists in order to maintain their quality work. Because of my full-time geology jobs and the fact that I draw my mangas on my own, it's difficult for me to approach the quality done by the team of artists. So I just do my best as I can do to enjoy drawing the mangas. ^_^
     I was born deaf so English is my second language. Each time I post a new chapter and until they have been proofreaded by the editors, the readers may notice any English typos. Please excuse them for they will be found and corrected by my editors as they read them online.

Jan 2007  ====> December 2009 Jan 2007  ====> December 2009
     My drawing skills are always improving over time even and that's normal for every artists out there. I acquired Wiacom Cintique drawing tablet in April 2009 and that resulted in some drastic improvements in my drawing abilities especially finer detailing and crispier lines. I just started playing with 3D modeling to help draw some objects like trains and buildings.

     But even so,  I'm naturally clumsy with my hands,  and as a result, my drawing style is never consistent. How much time I can allocate to drawing the mangas is determined by my everyday life. My fulltime geology jobs occasionally require me to take trips to do my geology stuff.  It's my goal to finish each chapter each month and I can do about 30 pages a month. Sometimes, I end up with enough time to slow down in order to do better with drawing, but when my jobs take up too much time, my drawings would become more rushed. When I become rushed, I tend to forgot little details or even get them wrong. ^^: So I tend to keep my drawings as simple as possible when needed and backgrounds are not always my strong suit. Since I consider the stories themselves to be above anything else even the quality of drawings, I always take time to though out the story and drafting the scripts and have few other people read them over.

   When I have extra time or feel like it, I would pay bit more attention to the way I draw. When that happens, I slow down and as a result, more details are added with better coloring.

   Since I was born deaf, I don't know what they sound like so I tend to draw pictures in place of the sounds.
   I like to be silly(good for health!) so I have numerous years long habit of including anything silly especially those involving animals like the fish spitting the crumbled paper out after clomping on it. Looking for such animals doing wacky stuff can be considered a game. :D

   Please forgive any misgiving of my drawing capabilities and focus on enjoy the stories that I enjoyed to draw. :) Thank you for reading!
