Begin drawing a line to outline the face.
1. Be sure to include a slight bump on the horizontal line crossing the mouth to outline a cheek.
2. The line outlining the chin should be very shallow U (not V).
3. Draw the rounded ear first before drawing the line outlining the jaw to connect with it. The ear should be near to the eye, but not too close or too far away.
