1. Using what you already learned from
drawing Usagi (Serena), sketch a head at like this picture:
Pls ignore the vertical line. |

2. Draw the eyes to make a character look more adultlike. |

3. You know where the hairline on forehead is right (as marked in the picture) right? Draw the two sets of bangs as shown in the diagram. Don't forget that characteristic "hooky" bang. |

5. Start drawing the rest of her hair, and giver her hair a bit messy look. |

5. Add any necessary details and critique it as you draw it with softer pencil. Don't forget that ring earring (only on her left ear). |

7.All done! Now let's look for any mistakes I
made. Just don't try to draw something when you're too tired or sleepy
like what I did on this sketch. ^_^;
Notice a double line? The paper is not always smooth and it can cause a pencil/pen to slip so watch out for that. It's very helpful to put an extra blank paper over the sketch and trace the sketches with ink. This way, if you make any mistakes while inking, you can just throw the inked paper away and put on a new one over the sketched paper without having to start the steps over again. ^_^ |
