How to Draw Roses (Angle view):

    Here's a photo of a real rose for you guys to study. One important point of drawing an object is to look for the obvious patterns to work with. Now look at the picture and look for basic shapes that you can start with. I see a cone at the center of the rose, so I'll start with that one by sketching the sketch shown above along with few arcs.
