1. The artists have different ways of drawing
Michiru's hair due to its complexity. Once you're familiar with basic drawing
of Michiru, you can try drawing her hair in different ways until you're
comfortable with how you draw her hair.
Using what you already learned from drawing Usagi (Serena), sketch a head at an angle like this picture: |

2. Sketch a line cutting through "Usagi's" eyes, and then draw smaller eyes to make a character look more adultlike. |

3. Work on the eyes to make this character look like Michiru (Michelle) |

4. You know where the hairline on forehead is right (as marked in the picture) right? Draw the two sets of bangs as shown in the diagram. |

5. Start drawing the lines coming in waves to form her hair on one
side, and then draw the other side of her head. Make sure that her hair
is not out of proportion in respect to her skull.
Decide which side of her hair looks better. I like a circled side better so I redid the other side to match that side. |

6. Add any necessary details and critique it as you draw it with softer pencil. |

7.All done! Now let's look for any mistakes I
made. Just don't try to draw something when you're too tired or sleepy
like what I did on this sketch. ^_^;
It's very helpful to put an extra blank paper over the sketch and trace the sketches with ink. This way, if you make any mistakes while inking, you can just throw the inked paper away and put on a new one over the sketched paper without having to start the steps over again. ^_^ |
