1. Using what you already learned from drawing Usagi (Serena). In fact, Chibiusa and Usagi look very similar, and only difference is that Chibiusa (Rini)'s face is shorter than that of Usagi (Serena), and she has bigger eyes too. Don't forget about the vertical line (hard to see in this picture). |

2. Sketch her face, and make sure that her face looks childlike by
having her large eyes taking up most of the face. Add mouth, nose, the
ears and neck. Note that the forehead, and nose are bit away from the vertical
line so to make her face more rounded instead of looking flat.

3. Sketch the eyes just like those of Usagi (Serena).
Mark the hairline on forehead (as marked in the picture) |

4. Starting from the first set of bangs, draw the curving & zig-zagging
lines to form the rest of her hair bangs, again just like Usagi (Serena)'s.
Make sure that her bangs are not too thick, and should be arranged neatly
(think of barber)
Lightly sketch the rest of her hair on her scaple so to make sure that her hair is not out of proportion in respect to her skull. Add the balllike buns to make drawing of her conelike buns easier. |

5. Add the cones to the buns, and any other necessary details. |

6. Now the trickiest part is her ponytails. Each artist have different
approach to drawing her ponytails, so it helps to take a look at the various
pictures and look for patterns in her hairstyle (or chose one you're most
comfortable with)
Now lightly sketch the ponytails the way you want it to be. Note how the ponytails are connected to her buns. |

7. Do your best to draw her ponytails by starting with the inner
"row" first while the outer "row" the last.
If you're not happy with it, lightly erase that part and do it over again. It takes practice. Also be careful with the symmetry of her ponytails, it's easy to get her ponytails looking lopsided (or not leveled). |

8. Add in the necessary details like cheek shadowing, eyes, eyebrows,
etc.
Use a softer pencil to draw darker lines that you want to be inked, and critique it as you draw the darker line. |

All done! Um. she looks okay. That is what happens
if one draws too fast. More time, better the drawing quality.
You can use the How to Draw a Deformed Character to draw her childlike body. ^_^ |
