    First, the body is drawn using the head size as a guide to determining the size of a body.  Notice how the legs are drawn in respect to the arcs of the circles that cross the ankles and knees.
    To make a salute, draw a hand on the forehead of a character. Mark the location on the hip where other hand is to rest on. Remember that the shoulder joint is lifted when an arm is raised upward.
