    A horizontal line is drawn first, and then a sketch of a figure is made on the line. Using the size of a head to determine the lenght of the body. Again, since a head is resting on a hand, the body is curved. Notice a slight bump where the groin is located, that is due to the fact that a female hip is bit wide and resting on the floor. Notice how the shoulder joints are drawn in response to the pose of the body.
