TRSE: How To Draw Tutorials:
No Drawing Style Is Alike

.
Someone told that I don't draw right. Well, I couldn't help but chuckle at that person's comment. How little does that person realize that NO ONE is perfect (not even Naoko T.). No artist can draw the SM characters the same or perfectly. Many Sailor Moon pictures and Animated episodes are drawn by different artists/animators. Take a look at the pictures below, and see all of the differences (assuming that each picture was drawn by a different artist).

.......
The left picture was drawn by Naoko Takeuchi, creator of Sailor Moon, and you can see how her drawing style differ from the Anime picture to the right drawn by a different artist. Any artworks similar to Naoko's art style are labeled as "Manga Style" which are very common in the mangas (Japanese comic books) while the "Anime Style" applies to those pictures that are drawn in the same way as the cartoons are (solid colors). The Anime shows are usually produced by the artists using more basic methods, and solid colors to save time and resources.
So "Perfectionists", there are no such thing as 100% perfect in the real world, because everything is ALWAYS different, and plus that we're still learning (and never stop learning). Perfect is something which all agreements are made (unanimously). So let's say, if you bring 100 people to take a look at the Sailor Moon pictures above, and each person choose one picture that looks perfect to that person. You will discover that the people have different tastes so they choose different pictures that they like most. If you say that one picture from above is perfect, and in order to make it be completely perfect, you must have to have ALL 100 people agree with you.  That's impossible, because of the different tastes of the people. Naoko Takeuchi had drawn many beautiful pictures, but there will be always some people who say that her pictures are ugly. So don't feel hurt if someone made a negative comment on your drawings. Another proof that there are no such thing as "perfectionism" is that if we keep drawing, we never stop improving. ^_^ What looked like a perfect picture one time, but several years later, it's not  perfect anymore because we improved our skills.   Just use any negative comment to strengthen yourself by discovering a way to improve yourself. Also, it never hurts to do your best as you can. ^_^
Also, what matters most are that an artist should be comfortable with drawing in his/her own style, and be to able to do his/her best as he/she can do. The different drawing styles make the "world of fanarts" more interesting,. ^_^

It's easier for me to look through the books and cards than through the Internet.
