TRSE: How To Draw Tutorials:
Differences between Males &
Females
Here's the diagrams of average(not ideal) male and female bodies.
Boys, it's not polite to gawk at females.

As you can see, there are many differences between
the male & female bodies, and even some patterns are different too.
Many features in such bodies always have purposes as in accordance with
the Theory of Evolution.
The male body was built for strength which aids
with gathering of food, and protection of families/comrades from anything
hostile (and regrettably social dominance based on strength). The female
body on other hand, was built for flexibility, speed and child-bearing.
The wider female hips was to carry a small child while walking while the
fattened female breasts were to produce and store the milk used to feed
the babies. Believe it or not, male breasts can produce and store milk
too if given right hormones too! I was told by a female artist that female
breasts are usually set at 45 degrees apart (when not supported by undergarments)
due to the curvage of the ribs.
Anyway, let's preview the pictures below and apply the
concept of patterns to them.
See how this picture of muscular man drawn by Boris V. is broken into
basic shapes.
Girls, no drooling please.

Here are the differences anyone must keep in mind while drawing:
-Male shoulders are usually broader than female shoulders.
-Female hips are usually wider than male hips (and female
waists are narrower too).
-Female features are usually smoother and more rounded
while male features are usually more blocky and bumpy. But female features
can be applied to any "girl-faced" boys (Yatan is a good example) and any
young teen boys. Even some male features can be applied to females too
("flat-chested Zoycite").
-Male is usually taller than female but we can have
really tall females and really short males.
-Both male and female as children have almost same
bodies (ignoring the genitals) until they reach puberty when their bodies
begin to develop differently and gradually.
And lastly, no body is the same. Everything over a body either a male or a female always vary. Anyone can be taller or shorter; anyone can be fatter or thinner; anyone can have narrower hips or wider hips; anyone can be prettier or uglier; even both male and female breasts vary too; Such variety is something one must keep in mind if one want to create various characters since variety makes characters look more realistic without looking like "twins/triplets/quartets/etc"
