Drawing the portrait of a human face is not easy. My drawings of the portraits are done by my eyes alone, and I haven't figured out a way to make the portrait drawings easier for you (any tips and suggestions are welcome). But let's do best as we can do.
   If your drawing gets imperfect as you progress thru the steps of learning how to draw, don't worry about it, just keep going. When you're done. You can come back and start over again. It takes a lot of practice.

1. Prepare a No 3 pencil and a blank paper.

2. Establish a position of the face, by doing a light sketch of a head on a blank paper.
