The White Springs
Fir site owned by Crook County Chamber of Commerce(open to
public diggings)
is one of several sites around Wildcat mountain that
produces thundereggs
that are mostly filled with yellow to white jasper,
sometimes stained with
brown to red colors. Some thundereggs with agates have been
found there but on a private claim.

Rough Appearance: "bleached" thunderegg with ridges,
commonly collapsed.
Commonly filled with yellow to white jasper, sometime
stained with
red. Possible to find waterline agates in them.
