There are several beds
around Desolation Canyon that they are often referred as
just "Desolation Canyon thundereggs". The appearances vary
but quite similar to each other in some ways. Generally,
they have greenish to brownish shells with colorless to
colorful agate cores.

Note: I showed
those two thundereggs to two Oregon collectors and they're not agreeable
on
exactly where they came from so they may be from Tabor
Hall's claim at Desolation Canyon or Whistler Springs
area.
