Black Desert Thundereggs
near Gerlach, Nevada
The thunderegg site near Nevada and Idaho border produced many large thundereggs usually with dark colored agate cores. Most thundereggs have narrow agate cores so it's tricky to find those with wider agate cores and those with more visible banding. The agates can be black, white, gray and even yellow and some are in forms of horizontal bandings. There are few thundereggs that includes yellow to red moss and plume inclusions.
