Several locations around Frejus at the Provence of France close to the border of Italy produced a wide variety of small but colorful thundereggs. The typical colors are red to pink, and the most desired color combination is red and blue. Estererl area produced small thundereggs with small cavities that are usually filled with horizontal bands. Not much are available from the area since the area is mostly private lands and a nature reserve.
