The thundereggs found at the Haida Gwaii Island of British Columbia come with grayish rhyolitic shells often with hollow cavities lined with quartz crystals. Some pointed cavities are filled with colorless to white agate sometimes with horizontal bandings. That is certainly an unexpected locality for thundereggs. :)
