Dwarves' Earth Treasures Museum:
Agate Creek Thundereggs
Agate Creek, Queensland Province, Australia
Some distance from the classic Agate Creek Agates site is where the thundereggs with orange agates are found. I was told that they would have to climb over a ridge to get to the site.
The tan thundereggs tend to have narrow agate filled cavities and they can come in large sizes. The horizontally banded agates are the norm while it's possible to find those with strong banding. The colors are reddish orange, orange, yellow and brown, commonly featureless.
