Couchy Creek Thundereggs
Tweed Valley New South Wales, Australia
Note: The location is now part of a National Park therefore, closed to any further collecting.

The thundereggs found there have unsilicified rhyolite shells which fiber-like altered cristobalite structures can be compared to those of the Buchann thundereggs from Oregon. The agates are usually "Waterline/Horizontal Bandings" types that are colorless sometimes with greenish to bluish tints. The site is now part of the Australia National Park so any collecting are not permitted there.
